Laid in a bed with Jess about three years ago while watching Up In The Air. Particularly sad and depressing film. Protagonist is no longer able to convince himself of the satisfaction of his solitary lifestyle, tries to break out of it by pursuing the escalation of a casual relationship. Complete dead end as he discovers she has a family and so he sinks back into his routine, though much more morose and hopeless than before.
